The Journey of Megapoly.Art: From Late Nights to a New Passion

Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the creative industry, with AI-generated art becoming increasingly sophisticated and widely adopted by designers worldwide. This technological advancement is not just a passing trend but a fundamental shift in how we approach design and creative expression.

The Grind: Long Nights, First Models, and Endless Learning

The beginning was pure determination. We spent countless late nights experimenting, learning new tools, and figuring out the fundamentals of 3D modeling. Our first model was rough, but it was ours. Our first animation was clunky, but it moved. Every new skill we learned, every mistake we corrected, fueled our excitement. We weren’t just making a game; we were discovering an entirely new world—one where we could shape our own ideas into reality.

We tested, failed, and tried again. From rigging characters to texturing environments, every step was a mix of frustration and joy. And through this process, we realized something: we loved creating.

Our First Game Idea: Mighty Rumblers

Our first serious project was Mighty Rumblers, a 4x4 truck-driving game where players raced across rugged terrain. We worked on mechanics, built environments, and tried to make it fun. But something was missing. The idea wasn’t strong enough, and despite all our efforts, we felt it wasn’t worth continuing. It was a tough decision, but we chose to move on.

Chasing Bigger Dreams: The Factory Simulation Game

Around that time, idle casual games were taking off. Inspired by the trend, we started developing an idle factory simulation game. The idea was ambitious—managing a factory, optimizing production, and watching an empire grow. But as we developed, we quickly realized how complex it was. Balancing mechanics, UI, and progression systems was overwhelming for us as newcomers. We lost our way in the technical details, and eventually, we had to let it go.

Our First Published Game: Loop Ride

Despite setbacks, we didn’t give up. In 2021, we finally published our first game, Loop Ride—a simple casual game where players drove a car in a loop, avoiding obstacles. It wasn’t a breakthrough hit, but it was a milestone. We had taken an idea, built it, and released it into the world. More importantly, Loop Ride was an awakening for us.

The Realization: We Loved 3D Art More Than Game Development

While working on Loop Ride, we had an epiphany: the parts we loved the most weren’t the game mechanics, but the visuals. Creating 3D models, designing environments, and bringing them to life through animation—that was where we thrived. Instead of struggling with game mechanics, we found joy in modeling every detail, experimenting with textures, and pushing our artistic limits.

That realization led us to shift our focus from game development to 3D modeling, and Megapoly.Art was born.

Looking Ahead

Our journey wasn’t easy. We spent years learning, failing, and pushing ourselves forward. But every late night, every frustrating bug, and every small victory brought us here. Today, as Megapoly.Art, we are fully committed to the world of 3D art, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

This is just the beginning.
